We import on an average approx 100 tons of SS in 200 , 300 & 400 series most of which are in pipe & tube form though some imports have been done for baby coils & coils of width 600 mm max.
The same approx qty will be the tentative requirement for future also on a regular & Monthly basis though there might be some variation in the diameters of tubes & thickness of coils on a month to month basis.
Most of our imports for 300 Series is in pipes & tubes for both Seamless & ERW is in secondary form and that is the segment we plan to import from the US.
